Glen Affric car parking

Hi, I'm looking to do the 3 munros behind Alltbeithe Youth Hostel leaving the car at the car park at the end of the public road in Glen Affric. I've no objection to paying for car parking, but can anyone please tell me if it is OK to leave the car there for a couple of nights and what are the arrang...

Re: Weasel?

Thanks folks. I'm pretty sure it was a weasel. I'll do some research and if I find anything different I'll post it on here.

Weasel?

On 10th November I saw what initially looked like a weasel on the summit of Beinn Mhic Chasgaig (Glen Etive) scurrying between some boulders. Re: Colourful Moss

My mother remembers mattresses filled with sphagnum moss being used in hospitals to aid those who were
incontinent. It's ability to absorb up to 20 times its own weight in water being most useful I think it also had some antibacterial properties which helped.

A wonderful thing is nature.

Re: Name Change

Redrock, thanks for your welcoming comments on my 'twins' page :)

With hindsight perhaps I should have gone with 'Nalunaq' it does have a certain ring about it, try googling it :D

Name Change

To avoid confusion with Redrock I've changed my username from Red Rock to Tony One. I've only posted a couple of times so shouldn't cause any problems. Just to keep the records straight here's my introduction again: Only signed up recently but what a great site and some wonderful contributors. Brief...
