Ben Nevis via C.M.D.

Hi folks weather permitting we are planning on doing Ben Nevis via CMD this Saturday 14th April, has anyone been up this route lately with this longer lasting cold snap is snow conditions still heavy lying or has there been any slight thawing lately. Cheers

Nope none of that gear just a pair of boots shorts waterproof and T'shirt. It was just a small flurry of snow on for a minute or two barely noticeable but I don't care I'm claiming to have done walk in winter conditions because I'm f*****g hardcore.

That video looks awesome, well I've decided to do it Sat. 23rd August weather permitting it's time to hit the tredmill try and loose a wee stone or 2. I'll let you all know how I get on I just hope you don't read about me in the papers.. Climber stuck on ridge crying for his mammy exclusive.

Sgurr I would love nothing more to do the ridge and I'm level headed enough to no my limits, for the best bit of 5 years I've talked with mates about doing this walk and for whatever reason it did not happen. You and others talk about using ropes and guides I don't think I want to go down that road,...

I'm not enjoying these reply's will someone please tell me not to do it :( ...Talking about grading scrambles is grade 1 minor and grade 5 difficult. If so how would you grade the A/E.

Cheers for reply, the exposure part to be honest I don't think would be the problem for me(famous last words) it's the actual walk is it difficult to do is it a hard challenging scramble, are there bits on ridge that are graded difficult or is it just a exposed simple walk(safety in mind).
