More clouds to dampen the day.

For my second outing in a week i was faced with the prospect of the forecast of rain, thunder and 60% chance of cloud free munros. :( And once again MWIS was slightly off with their precictions. Glas Maol circuit

Today was a day of venturing into the unknown 8) This was my first time experiencing the joys of munro bagging on back to back days and hostelling. I left home at 0645 and was booted up and ready for the off by 0845. The weather conditions were pretty ideal with an overcast sun and very little wind....

Cairnwells in reverse

These three were meant to be done in winter. I have been using Decathlons own brand at half the price and it has been fine for the last dozen or so walks. I have my eye on the osprey model though for when my cheapo one fails (as they all do eventually)
