Walking buddies highlands

Hi
I live up north not too far from Tain, just wondering if there are any walkers out there wanting to buddy up, I tend to try and go on a good hike every Saturday in a new place, I've just started to bag some munros but love lowers walks too.

Re: Inverness Hill Walking buddies sought

Hi

I'm a bit higher up than Inverness but let me know if you ever fancy meeting 😁 I've just started doing the munros but like pretty much all walks to be honest.
I like a nice moderate pace too although this often slows down a bit on the munros 😂

Cloudy but thoroughly enjoyable

Set off to a beautiful sunny day was immediately excited to see the views from the top... Word of warning get there early as the car park is small and was was already a good few cars by 645am when I arrived. The walk itself is straight forward the paths are very good and easy to follow. There is a b...

Munro number one

My first Munro I set off early to get a good start and avoid the traffic on the one lane roads leading up to Ben hope, which I watched for many miles growing bigger as I drew closer. The carpark is right by the start of the climb and has ample space. My boots went on and off I began.... The path is ...

Loved it

Unlike the other review I actually really enjoyed this walk, I started along the green walking route but just carried on and kept walking until I reached the mast at the top of the hill which ended up being part of the mountain bike black route so watch out for bikers in case. Really good Forrest tr...

Amazing views

Starting at the car park follow the clear paths up to the monument, can be steep at times but a steady uphill all the way, I would recommend going early to enjoy the views as can get very busy. Hardish walk but the view at the end is spectacular, and the walk back down is a piece of cake.

Good walk

Nice walk all paths are very well kept and easy to follow a good selection if routes to walk which are all clearly marked. Stunning views at the top by the small cairn and worth taking the detour to the small bench at the end where there is views to portmahomack.

Landslip

Could do with some better signposts of location walk itself was ok used to be a circular route but has been massive landslips which have destroyed the paths you cant really see much of the falls either due to fallen trees that have filled the gorge. Overall an ok walk but a real shame the original p...
