Depending on how far iam going i can either drive a bit then walk, or just leave from milngavie. I have a springer spaniel so ideally i walk for about 30 hours per day so hes a bit tired. Ill have a look on the map. Cheers I'm not sure how this is possible, unless you have mastered time travel. :lo...

Del_young, what are your intentions? Do you plan to walk to said camp or drive? If your intention is to walk, then I notice you are from Milngavie. You could walk to High Wood along West Highland Way (just by Drymen, approx 12/13 miles) or to Garadbhan Forest, at foot of Conic Hill, again along Wes...

Wild camping with the dog

Going to venture out camping somewhere this weekend with the dog. Weathers Looking pretty good. A bit cold but dry. Looking for some suggestions of good places to go with plenty of surrounding woodland thats good to set up camp. Based in milngavie, so somewhere within 30 miles or so .
