Re: Fraochaidh - West Forest Route From Duror

Just to advise you that I understand that there has been considerable felling since I did my report and access is now much easier. However, at the time it was fun to go up through the forestry route!

Re: Two cracking Grahams But! Cleggs, Black Flies, Crags etc

Good to see this pair of hills again and in splendid weather. I totally agree that they are without doubt superb hills but the Mull, Western Isles & Skye Grahams take some beating too! :D :D

Re: First Graham: The remote Beinn nan Lus

Having done your route a few weeks ago, I have to agree with you that it's a hell of bike/walk for one Graham!

Re: First Graham: The remote Beinn nan Lus

Thanks for your report which gives a nice insight into both the bike ride in and the ascent of Ben nan Lus. I suspect my bike times may be higher than yours!

Thanks for the info., as I'd been eyeing up that very route for a while and had a hunch it would be wet! I'll give it a go when the next hard frost comes! :)

Re: A Surprisingly good day up Balquhidder way

That looked a really good day out to me and I particularly liked the shot of Loch Voil. It's a strange route past the "sensitive deer" as you break out over the fences!

Nice report. :D

Lost GPS Near Croit Bheinn(663m), Moidart

I have lost a black camera bag which contained a Sat Map Active 10 GPS within a bright orange silicon waterproof cover. I believe that it was lost due to a belt loop failure and my best estimation is that it was lost somewhere between NM 805 763 and NM 797 756. Given that remote Grahams such as thes...

That is indeed moving and have a look at the age of the person who wrote it.

Was that picture taken at the Fairy Lochs Liberator crash site near Gairloch by any chance?

Re: Marsco

Don't worry malky, it's well worth a second read!

Great report of Marsco which has really whetted my appetite, although being a glutton for punishment, I fancy combining it with the nearby Beinn Dearg Mhor. :D
