Re: Plan B: Tower Ridge

A very enjoyable read and a lot of helpful detail for future users. Was fine with the CMD ridge but the rest is way beyond me though as a walker and not a climber - thanks :)

Re: Lochs Clair and Coulin

Good result and nice day for it. Was up in the hills just to the west last weekend - didn't have time to visit these lochs but they do make for a good wander. Thanks :)

Re: A Paddle in the Scaddle

Good result for the weekend. Was up the Glen Scaddle route last year - took the bike which turned out to be harder than I thought as the track goes up and down a lot. Had similar feelings about the alternative shelter - not sure I'd want to spend a night in it. Thanks :)

Re: 4 Little crackers - WH Meet

Good result. Yup, you do get around quite a bit chasing these sub2ks. Looking at your reports I often find out about hills of which I had no idea before. Thanks :)

Re: Walking tracker that works without GPS

The basic samsung fitness app on my old smart phone counts steps then calculates stride length based on profile information and cadence then gives me a total distance. Doesn't sound all that accurate but oddly enough it does come out with results which aren't that far out when I look at a map even w...
