It’s definitely doable, as for a path? From memory, not the whole way around.

For me they are are the ultimate Highland species I concur, and ironically my favourite/best goldie sighting was near A'Mhaighdean. We were traversing the rarely frequented ridge of Beinn Tharsuinn Chaol when I startled a goldie a mere 5-10 metres away. Watched it fly away towards Beinn lair. Later...

As an alternative, cycling in from the north (Laggan side) is a really nice approach and a bit more interesting than the Dallwhinnie approach imho. Layby on the east bound side near Inverpattick Lodge.
