A wee group of us heading to the trekkers' lodge at Kintail this coming w/e. Think we all have different walks in mind for the Saturday & Sunday. However I'm planning on the Brother's Ridge on the Saturday having been beaten by the horrendous cornices last winter. So if anyone fancies joining me...

Seems to me that most report winners are more wordy than this, but your report is superb - the photographs are outstanding, bringing back lots of wonderful memories - and your video is totally wonderful, capturing the flavour of the day, and what a day it was! I took a look at the craggy direct ascent from the wee lochan (infinity pool) and decided that was the way I was going....big mistake! Although June, it was still unconsolidated from the winter avalanches. Loose porridgy shale. Even Bob wasn't happy... But got up somehow. Great hills!

Having run in beside the bikes from Kinlochewe, before camping at Lochan Fada for a few nights, Bob was happy to sit for a while, cooried in beside me on Beinn Tarsuinn, as we took in the views to the west. What a magnificent place, the Fisherfields! Can't wait to go back to this true wilderness

That's an impressive time

- was chuffed with mine, and that was using a bike! Certainly it was the first time on it in just about 2 years, and that track isn't perhaps the best for getting back into the saddle!

Many thanks folks - have been in touch, and awaiting reply - the problem is more the fact we're not going in by the usual route via the bothy (which is closed atm ; I believe to accommodate the stalkers? Or feed them their lunch?))
