Re: Guiding on Carn Eighe 3 (Glen Affric) via Coire Leachavi

Cheers Parminder. Yes Martin we had a much better trip path wise than you guys up MFC by the look of it, shame because from the Cottage MFC looked really good. I think with out injury you would have been fine on your route with all the borders training.

Last October 2018 myself Parminder and Fife Flyer (Martin) stayed at Strawberry Cottage, partly as a recce for this adventure in May 2019. We tackled Toll Creagach,Tom a' Choinich, Carn Eige, Beinn Fionnalaidh and Mam Sodhail with a walk off back to Strawberry Cottage. The weather had closed in and ...

Fife Flyer wrote:Nice one George, I recognise a few of the foti's!!

I did a WR too (with far more foti's) but haven't made it public.
It was a shame that every time we reached a summit the cloud descended, I still managed 200 foti's.

Yes it is becoming the norm these days :(

Three Pensioners and 3 Pre Retirees in Mullardoch

Well this day had been planned for a few months with a stay in Cannich B&B for 4 of us, Ali, John, Kev and myself. Fife Flyer had been injured for a bit and was not doing his usual weekly walks but decided to do a walk this weekend and when I jogged his memory we were doing the Mullardoch 4, he ...

Re: Big Bookil 2 car trick

Easy when you have done the route just 2 years prior and saves plenty time with that descent and the 2nd vehicle.

Thanks for the report and photos Martin.

The name of this report was to be 8 to go as we were aptly named in the Quiz on the Saturday night, as Slioch left me with 8 Munro's to go till completion! I have opted for a different title due to the change ...
