Re: Lockdown task complete - well almost

Great summary of a tough but pleasurable set of hills, it certainly increased my awareness of the beauty in the Kingdom that is often not seen.
No need to thank me Martin, you did the planning and I just enjoyed the trips with good company and many laughs.

Re: Off-piste on Maoile Lunndaidh

Well done Jonathan, done this hill with the 2 Sgurrs the first time and the off route was the same as yours, which was steep but decent and the path was patchy. It was a bog trot to the Lodge path/road. We had left bikes at the wire bridge to the Sgurrs so the exit was pretty quick.

Re: Liathach - The return, seemed much tougher!

Thanks for the write up Martin, it was a good day and I did find it a bit mentally taxing than my last visit for some reason . Maybe the damp conditions played with my head. Funny though, we did it in a quicker time than my last visit which I didnt expect as I was trying to take my time other than o...

Re: B & M fae Linn of Dee

Looks like I missed a good day. I haven't done the Feshie route for these 2, only this one you did and I found it pretty good. Having not to retrace Monadh Mor has to be a bonus, speaking from someone that loves ascent of course. Great pics of Devils Point, most folk mostly see it from the Larig Ghr...

Good summary of a fairly tough day Martin, well done. An extra special well done too for young Martin having not been out on a Munro since the WH Meet last year.
