Re: Deaths on anoach eagach ridge

I always thought the drop off Am Bodach was the most dangerous part of the ridge Long time since I did it but I remember a few awkward moves on the downclimb. The rest of it was exposed but not difficult in dry conditions without high winds. TBH Not sure I would do it in bad weather. Where's the en...

Re: Feedback and comments

Hi Paul, I have installed the app, really straightforward and quick. The guide is great. Looks like it will be a very useful app, I especially like that you can flip between the route & description with one touch at the bottom. I have had one issue with it working offline but will post on the ot...

Re: Beta testers wanted - Walkhighlands App

That sounds great.. I screenshot each route description so I can use it offline so that would be a great help!

I use a few routes a week so would definitely be interested in trying the Beta.

Re: Small van for camping

Re: Ring of Steall

Well I went round the Ring of Steall yesterday - what a day out  My favourite day out of my 70 Munros so far. It was slightly more exposed than the Glen Shiel ridge but nothing difficult - thanks again for all the advice :D Can confirm that I now require new knees after the descent of Sgurr A’...

Re: Ring of Steall

Ring of Steall is a bit harder and more exposed, I would say, but not by a huge margin. Thats pretty much what im looking for, was always wanting that bit extra at Glen Shiel, Thanks for the quick reply! I agree with jmarkb. The Ring of Steall is also a far better day out, save it for a good day. I...

Ring of Steall

Hi there,

Quick question, how does the ring of steall compare to the South Glen Sheil ridge? In terms of exposure/scrambling?

Went round the glen sheil ridge this week and really enjoyed the small scrambly bits, but just wondering if the ring of steall will be easier/harder.

Thanks in advance :D
