I think it's only the single skinned 'Pro' versions that need to be seam sealed: the flysheets on the versions with the separate inners are made of a different material and are good to go out of the factory. No, they (3FUL) all need done, it's a cost saving that many tent manufacturers do tbh. Hmm....

Does anyone know where the main photo on the TGO Challenge homepage was taken? The one for 'The Challenge In Pictures', with the guy in the red top? It doesn't seem to appear in the gallery. Looking west towards Ben Alder on left and Lancet/Gael Charn on right from west of Culra, I believe. Ahh, I ...

I had to pay customs fees when I bought my Cloud Peak 2 from Ali Express in the summer, and a few years ago buying a bike frame direct too.

Newt in Glen Tilt

Hopefully interesting enough to warrant a post: certainly the first one I’ve seen in my 40 years. Living in a puddle in the track about a mile before the Falls Of Tarf, and still there when I returned past the next day. Guessing a Palmate newt, given the habitat and what I’ve read since..?
