Re: Best one of Yorkshire peaks to do.

Whernside isn’t difficult although out and back from Ribblehead viaduct is about nine miles but the ascent is relatively gradual, the paths are clear and there’s no scrambling involved.

Thanks for the admission, love the site, privileged to have walked in the Andes, Himalayas and Alps but love the Highlands and the Isles and now focussing on the hills and mountains of the U.K. the posts on here have been really helpful in helping me determine routes and ideas for walks, once again ...
