So I can say I'm incredibly happy with the decathlon jacket. Its super light, and is like wearing a hug. I have been sitting around in the tent with just my thermal layer, a t-shirt, and my jacket and I'm super cosy! Not for doing exercise in or you will overheat like crazy but fantastic for keeping...

Thanks everyone for your input, I have gone for the decathlon alpinism at £80. I shall report back after it has arrived and been on an expedition. :D

Looking for advice on a decent mid-layer jacket

Hey folks, Just wondering what people thought of as a decent mid-layer jacket. I already have a black diamond waterproof shell which is great while hiking in the rain but I'm looking for something to wear in the bothy or sitting round the campfire on chill winters evening, that'll be nice and cosy b...
