Many thanks all. At the moment I'm keen on the idea of Ben More Assynt / Conival - as someone has said the navigation is fairly straightforward, and it's accessible. I note it's a 'four-booter' though, not sure if that's pushing it. Can always stop on Conival I guess, and the route descriptions don...

hi i stil regard myself as a novice after walking out on the hills for the past ten years we did attend a class on navigation and allways take a good kit of first aid and survival gear with us most of our early munros were were done on fair weather days gradualy gaining confidence and a little exper...

thankyou paul for the maps on the graded walks we used them last year and again this ,we have just returned home after two weeks on skye ,i did have big plans worked out for some of the coulin but one of our collies badly cut his paw pads on broken glass on stein beach mind you he probably saved my ...
