It's the same. At some point you or your phone have disabled the permission, probably by accident. Try looking at 'Site settings' in your browser settings, then click 'Location'.

You need to have enabled Walkhighlands.co.uk to see your location in order for it to be shown.

This is really disappointing to hear. Originally the hotel owner wanted us to tell people to park at the hotel, which was the case for years. There isn't a Walkhighlands app so maybe you mean another app? If you mean the maps on the website, they will show your position if your phone permissions allow it - so it depends how you set your permissions. We wouldn't recommend using website maps for navigation though - except in more urban area...

We used to have it from Camas-luinie which was shorter as you say but also wetter / rougher, so I decided to swap things to use the great track. Both do work!

If you'd be willing to report the barbed wire fence (there was previously a stile as noted in the text) to the council, it may help with getting a stile reinstated as they may give more priority to more reports. Go to the "walks" menu, choose your area and you'll get to a list of walks there to choose from. Or you can you a search of all walks (also on the "walks" menu).

When originally devised this was a network of routes rather than a single line and so wasn't suitable in itself. However it does now look like it's been defined as a single route. We did use to take the line marked in red to where it says NTL, but amended after the barrier went up.
