Re: Testing Tops

Now how about the Donald tops too   Truth be told, we should probably add them in a similar way to this, as an opt-in list add-on thingy once we've sorted this out. Not saying exactly when though! I love the amount of discussion this thread has started about Tom Dubh. I've been up that o...

Re: Testing Tops

I know it has a reputation as being one of the most obscure tops but it is actually ascended on the WH route to Monadh Mor. The highest bealach still seems to be with Braeriach on latest maps though.

Re: Testing Tops

Tom Dubh - I think in DoBH it is a top of Monadh Mor. But having stared at the map for ages (and remembering that it was always considered to be of Braeriach) I can't see why, as there is less descent from it when heading towards Braeriach. So I think the change requested by sunset tripper was corre...

Are you using the update link, and pressing 'Submit hills climbed' when you've ticked them? Should work the same as for the other lists... :?

Re: Testing Tops

Thanks all. Tom Dubh is linked to Monadh Mor but I think it is a subsidiary top of Braeriach. Cheers. I thought that too, managed to convince myself otherwise, now looked again and am sure you are right. Changed it over. Is there any chance of having a bagging tick when the hills are sorted in alpha...

Re: Testing Tops

Will it be possible to see Tops on the all hills map, or on a Munros+Tops map? They look a bit lonely all alone.

I think what may work would be if we make it so that the Tops map has the parent Munros marked on it as well in some way, rather than changing the other maps. Make sense?

Testing Tops

No, I'm afraid it's not an account of an ascent of the Basteir Tooth and others. It's a request for help! We've had alot of requests over the years to include bagging lists for Munro Tops. The reason we didn't have them is that we didn't want to overcomplicate the tagging of reports etc. for the maj...

Re: Obstacle course

Storm Arwen has affected most forest walks in Perthshire, Angus and Aberdeenshire and it's going to take a month or two before trails are cleared and back to normal. Many are impassable.

Re: Happy Christmas

It's Cairn Lochan above the Northern Corries. Braeriach in the distance.

Re: Littleferry path blocked

We amended our route to avoid this following the report, but saw this sign in Golspie the other day, so anyone who has walked this might want to get in touch with the council.

Hopefully we can get the route back along the coast.
