Re: Tiny images on home page

Thanks - there does seem to still be an issue. I'm working on it now.

Re: Tiny images on home page

There was a temporary issue that lasted almost an hour, a few days ago. It was fixed but it sounds like the broken version is in your browser cache. If you do a hard refresh (shift F5 on Chrome, for example) then it should right itself for you.

Re: Donation By Card Not Working

Hi Rob. Do you mean on Paypal's website? You'd have to contact their support if you have an issue with using your card on Paypal, as we don't have any input into their site. It is working generally as Paypal payments are coming through. Thanks for trying.

Re: Corbett images missing

Thanks - I've just fixed this (the previous fix only covered the Corbett bagging map itself). However, the old version will be in your browser cache if you've viewed a Corbett in the last month; it will revert to correct version after that unless your cache is cleared.

Re: Bagging maps

jmarkb wrote:I'm pretty sure there is no way to do this - the type of mapping displayed, and hence the level of detail, is linked directly to the zoom level.

That's correct.

Re: Hills Maps Not Working

There's a bug in the current version of Safari - on MacOS only - with current releases of leaflet mapping client.

I've tried to put in a workaround until this is fixed - but I don't have a MacOS device on which to check (Safari on other devices including iOS is not affected).

Re: Downloading maps

Hi Sharon Whilst there have been no changes to downloading files (it's something controlled by the device on which you download), Google Earth isn't an application you should use for navigating when out and about. It's only for online use (and doesn't have maps) - it needs a very high quality phone ...

Re: Beinn Mhanach - access

Our route has been updated to start from the park boundary. I really like the approach walk along the Auch Glen!

Re: New Covid law 26/4/2021

ETA: One thing I'm not 100% on - if staying in self-catering tourist accommodation, are you limited to one household? My understanding is that you are, but not totally sure. Yes, until 17th May. The self-catering rules are the same as for meeting others at home. Expected to move to 6 people from 2 ...

Re: When does parking become irresponsible?

The second photo - yes. However I'm referring to the first photo, which I think is taken in a completely different location. I think the first photo has been removed from the article since you posted it (quite possibly as the parking might have been fine). The only photo on the link now shows the c...

Re: New Covid law 26/4/2021

To be clear - we have not deleted any replies or any text from this thread, by you or anyone else, so please do not make false claims otherwise. And saying the movement restrictions have not changed, and that people in Scotland have to remain in their local areas, is clearly false. As is telling Sgu...

Re: New Covid law 26/4/2021

The information given above is false. As we've previously said, you can move around the whole of Scotland for any purpose, and from today this includes overnight stays , as well as between Scotland and England, Wales, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Jersey / Guernsey. The important amendment is t...
