Re: From Bruach to Basteir - veni, vidi, vaccine?

Great stuff Kev. That upclimb was a little 'on the edge' there is no doubt about that. Good fun though :)

Re: The Innaccessible Pinnacle with Jonah and Kate Winslett

Great stuff Kev. The 'Kate Winslett' line is the stand out moment from the trip. Absolutely hilarious

Re: Ring of Steall? I'd say it's a basic requirement!

I am sure Kev is the human equivalent of a mountain goat.

Awesome report fella - what an amazing day :)

Get High And Stay High (Part Two - Saturday)

Continued from http://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=20487 I have never slept in a camper van before but what a great experience it was. Comfortable and warm, with proper cooking facilities it was a pleasurable way to spend a night. But the best thing was being able to get out...

Get High And Stay High (Part One - Friday)

What better way than to end a week’s holiday than a double header taking in the Ring of Steall and The Five Sisters. My good mate Scott was coming up from Cumbria in his recently acquired Camper Van and we planned to run from Claunie Inn, across the Brothers Ridge, tag on the Five Sisters and drop d...

Re: The Ring of Steall - ca m'a coupe le soufflé

Perfecto Kev!

Totally agree about that bad step on the Devil's Ridge. There was no way I was revisiting that 'bad boy' on my way back across for Stob Ban and Mullach nan Coirean so I took the lower bypass path instead. Top Stuff!

Re: The Five Sisters of Kintail - a Church not made with Han

Very nice report Graeme. The weather looked top-drawer as well. Good to see Debbie getting some Munro action as well!

Re: The Trotternish Traverse

Simply awesome - amazing report and photos. I have had my eye on this for a while as a long fell run and may just try and squeeze this in on my forthcoming Skye trip this May

Re: No sleep 'til An Socach

I like the idea of an assault on the Cairnwell hills from the West to avoid the ugliness, will do that myself I think Cheers for all the comments, much appreciated. I fully condone an assault from the west even if it is just to take in the awesome Munro Top, Carn Bhinnein. I contemplated approachin...

Re: No sleep 'til An Socach

I decided against Beinn Lutharn Beag. What a light weight. I saw that guy on the skiing, met him at the bealach between Beinn Lutharn Mhor and Mam nan Carn, he must have had a fantastic day also. Beinn Lutharn Beag was a cracker. I made a decision a year back to start ticking off all the 'tops' whi...

Re: Striding into Helvellyn Heaven!!

£4.50 to park??? It was only two quid, the last time I was there, shows how long ago that was :). Love the side on photos of the final push to the summit after Striding Edge. Top stuff!
