Re: A Magnificent Day on Scafell

Lovely pictures. I was over the valley on Yewbarrow on Saturday.
Looks like you had a nicer day for it though.

That is a belter of a walk. Going up the valley towards the Scafell's is full of amazing scenery.

Glad to hear Grace is still walking with you and Hughie is still going.

All of them are stressed to breaking point at the moment, and as nice as the gesture is, clapping your hands outside once a week does...

Re: In loving memory of my wife Elizabeth

Sorry to hear that.
She won't be waiting for you, but she will be with you every step of the way.

Hope you find some solace in the hills.

Thanks Ibex, I'm on round two (153) at the moment and bagging and Birketts (364) as I go. I'd really like to do more in bonnie Scotland but that's not reall...

Re: A Dream Coming True

A little out the way for me. But very cool.

Being able to set up a life there with my girlfriend would be amazing for both of us. A huge health boost for us both.

Re: A Dream Coming True

Thanks. I've been trying to find out what businesses are on the West Lake science park, but not been able to find it. I can turn myself to anything really. Working in a physics lab at the moment, but I did a degree in biology and biochemistry. Would be happy doing something in the environment too. L...
