Thanks for this and yes that's why I am asking. Looking to camp there then drive to Clunie first thing and leave the car there. Walk day one and end up at tent then day two go across road and go west to east on North ridge ending up back at the car. A short drive back to the tent for second nights k...

Sth Shiel Munros camping

Hi
I am looking to do the South Shiel Munros east to west. Does anyone know if it is possible to camp after the decent from Creag nan Damh, before reaching the A87 please?

Thanks for the reply. Had thought about the higher ground, climbing Gulvain and then descending east into Glen Mallie through to Invemallie. This would require a camp on high but it looks like a fairly friendly flat long section of high ground. Assumed the sth loch side lower down would be pathless ...

Strathan to Spean Bridge via sth loch Arkaig

Hi everyone, complete Newbie to this great site. And..... I've my first question if you can help please. Can anyone advise on the above route ie the south shore of loch Arkaig. Looking to walk from Sourlies to Strathan then wild camp. Next day start walking out to Spean Bridge but not by north road....
