found Glasses rimless, Coire Achaladair

Hi

Coming down from Beinn Achaladair on Sunday and probably about halfway out in Coire Achaladair.
Lying in grass at side of stream, a pair of rimless wire legged glasses.(not reading glasses)

If they are yours let me know and i will post them.

Cheers

Re: A walk through the middle of Corse using tent and hostels.

Looks terrific gaffr,if only i could talk my wife into a more adventurous summer holiday.(of the outdoor type) :o

The west highland way in the lashing rain does not have the same appeal.

Re: Sauchiehall Street via the CMD arete

Worst downhill ever,i have to agree. The route up the CMD is terrific though and we were lucky with the weather.Geez
it was cold on the top of the Ben.

Jason at "the wee tricky bit" I had already hopped off to the safe path. The flat rock slopes away to the considerable drop.

Re: Ben Lawers ridge (Five munros from NTS car park)

Hi

I wouldn't be sure about "dog friendly" going down the face of An Stuc if doing the 5 clockwise.
I wasn't very keen on the downclimb, the rest of it would be no problem.

Re: Daysack -Gregory or OMM

My vote for the OMM Classic Marathon 32l,great and very comfy,I can even get enough for winter walking
in it as well, crampons in net/mesh section outside, everything else in pack.Great pockets on waist belt and easily
accessible water bottle pockets.

Great pack.

Re: To pole or not to pole - that is...................

I only use one pole (£5 go outdoors) and think it adds a great deal of stability and is a definite help coming downhill. 3 points of contact better than 2 and all that stuff. In fact good for leaning on when on the way up to recover. :? I don't put my wrists through the straps,i would rather be able ...

Re: A Castle and the Hill of Danger

Well done guys, that step on Beinn a'Chroin was the part i was not very keen on when i did this in similar conditions with ice.I felt REALLY exposed on this.

Looks like a boys own adventure of a day.
