Started off at 0630 from Succoth car park on a dreich morning with Froach. Headed up the Coire a'Bhalachain path taking a right after a couple of hundred yards making a Bee line up through the woods towards Narnain. I think I walked up the burn for most of the way through the smirry rain. The rain s...

Beinn Cabhair

Once again had great weather for a wee hill walk. Parked the car in at the Drovers and headed off with the dog. Crossed the bridge and entered the field to the left following the path round the side of the river to the edge of the campsite. From here I accidentally turned onto the West Highland way ...

Ben Macdui

Started off at the ski centre car park on a glorious July morning and took the route along the front of the corrie faces up towards the Larig Gru. Paths were great due to this cracking summer we have had up here. The uphill starts here but you are rewarded with great views of the Fiacaill buttress. ...

Duncolm

First hill walk of 2019 and a wee one to start with. Set off from the temporary car park with my faithful dog Fraoch (AKA Daftarse) up the road and track to Loch Humphrey. The path up to the loch was pretty busy (too busy for my liking ) but soon tailed off when we got to the loch. Headed round...

Best day of the year so far as me and the dog set off for Dhiseig.
