Re: Aonach Eagach

I really enjoyed your report. I did this a few weeks ago with my club. Me and nine blokes. I managed it fine although I got jelly legs at one point when I looked down. I started off Sunday...

Thanks for this Paul, I didn't think to look there. The video is really helpful.

Re: Winter Skills Courses

[quote="Milesy"]The book is brilliant for everything to do with mountaineering, but you need to put up with funny strange foreign terms. Just ordered the book from Amazon. Thanks for the little glossary. I am looking forward reading it now. Not sure about the self arrest chat...probably be...

Re: Winter Skills Courses

Crikey, I have got a lot to learn! I think I will start by ordering the book suggested by Milesy and start learning from the comfort and safety of my living room. There is a club near to me which I have thought about joining but chickened out of as I don't want to go along myself (I know how patheti...

Re: This site just keeps getting better.

Hi there
Welcome to this fab site. I am hoping to explore some of the hills south of the border so it is great to know that there is a wealth of knowledge out there to hopefully tap in to.
