Re: 5mm Tent Poles

They are not carbon fibre as one is splitting like normal solid poles.

5mm Tent Poles

I have a Special Forces one man shelter and need new poles.

The issue is they are 5mm x 440mm and I can't find anything online similar.

Any advice appreciated.

Ben Donich

We went for a leisurely stroll to checkout a cycle path at Artgarten last night. Is this Ben Donich in front of us? We thought of tackling this soon and aware the start is from the car park on Lochgoilhead road. https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xap1/t1.0-9/10245479_10204038487667110...

Re: Aonach Eagach - 28th August 2013 (The Enoch Kneeknock)

We were in An Torr car park last night and The Clachaig but didn't sign up as weren't sure of the weather. This is an image of the ridge about 08.30 this morning. We went fishing instead. I hope all are safe and well and will look back for reports. https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-a...

Yes and I had a low tech method fail on me climbing the Cobbler which was like a waterfall.

One HTC Desire tucked deep inside a waterproof Berghaus jacket still got soaked.

Re: GPS Tracker

I don't use Tasker on my HTC One but have some NFC chips and some nice apps to write them.

NFC Task Launcher, NFC Retag, Tagstandwriter.

Tasker can be incorporated.

Chips from http://nfcdirect.co.uk/

I have ViewRanger and MapMyHike.
