Started from Bridge of Orthy - ascent in cloud for a change! Dorain 1st - boggy approach but good ice climb up waterfall.

54 Meall Chuaich, Drumochter

Pretty straight forward Munro. Could have easily cycled most of the route before starting to climb. long track in was a bit of a dull slog, especially on the return. Weather was ok to begin with with intermitent views of the summit. I kept my fingers crossed that it would be cloud free when reached....

53 Sgairneach Mhor

Attempted to also complete Beinn Udlamain but ran out of time. Set off at 1.30pm so didnt want to risk a dark decent especially as the cloud was down so navigating was hard enough. Just managed Sgairneach Mhor before dusk at around 4pm. I follwed the walk report but disagreed with directions advisin...

Re: Quoich a day out on the South Glen Shiel Ridge

Great report mate , well done. This has happened to me a few times and its horrible. I stopped climbing when cloudy as i couldt face getting lost. 47. Carn a Gheoidh

Needed a short and quick Munro to bag on way home from Aberdeen after climbing Tolmount and Tom Bhudie the day before. I was a bit stiff and pushed for time. I'd climbed Carn Aosda and the Cairnwell last year so i was surprised to find id missed this one as it would probably be best to do all 3 toge...

41.42 Ben More and Stob Binnein

Been looking forward to climbing this hill for ages but could never get the weather for it so thought id save it for a clear day. Glad i did as the views were well worth waiting for. Pretty eventful hike. Stormed up Ben More a lot quicker and easier than I expected. Felt really fit. Found a creepy l...

38.39.40 Monadhliath Munro Circuit

Did this walk a while ago and have only just loaded info so cant remember much about it. I followed the walk report in the opposite direction (just to be different as lots of walkers started at the same time) but scrambled straight up A'Chailleach to save on distance. It was steep, tough and very sl...
