Lost - pair of glasses, Manod Mawr North Top
Hi,
I left a pair of glasses on a rock just a few yards to the east of the summit cairn of Manod Mawr North Top. It's a long shot (!), but if found please contact me on here or on 07792 714737
Many thanks
Matt

Re: The Aonach Eagach on a whim.
I was up on BE Beag the day before, met Craig and Jerry who were umm-ing and aah-ing about whether to do AE or not... glad they took the plunge, and that they had someone else to do it with! Great day for it.

Re: The Inaccessible Pinnacle is accessed
Wow, what a cracking day! I'll just echo what's already been said in the above comments. The In Pin looms ominously somewhere on the horizon in my bagging conquest... As my climbing experience amounts to precisely zero, I'll be hiring a guide and taking no chances, that's for sure! Thanks for such a...

Creigh Hill, Corwharn, Cat Law
Decided to head East today, fair-weather walker that I am...! It seems lately that most of the decent weather is to be found to the East; maybe this is something I'll have to get used to living in Scotland... Quite a drive from Glasgow, but I made full use of the day with a long tramp over these hea...

Fiarach meander
our_route.gpx My only plan as such for today was to summit Fiarach; the rest of the route would take care of itself. I would just alight the train at Crianlarich and play it by ear. Conditions were overcast, so the pictures aren't the best. From the station I took the well made path linking Crianla...

Re: Kelvin Walkway: Glasgow to Milngavie
I did this walk this afternoon, and can only agree with your comments... so much litter on the middle section, was depressing and disappointing. I felt as if I was hurrying for much of the route to get past the nasty sections... this isn't why I go walking! Having said that, the 2 miles or so throug...

Re: A perfect day on Beinn Tharsuinn
Awesome! Some people don't know what they're missing...
I'm working in SE Asia at the moment, 30 degrees every day, but I'd much rather be there!

Re: No sleep 'til An Socach
Loved reading that, thanks! It's great to have no pre-planned agenda for the day, just to get up there and play it by ear...
I like the idea of an assault on the Cairnwell hills from the West to avoid the ugliness, will do that myself I think
Cheers

Lovely report, thanks... I really enjoyed reading it. It's an area I eventually hope to get to know as well as you obviously do.
