Cheers for all your comments and suggestions certainy made note :D My partner fancies Ben A'An ... and from looking on the site it certainly looks great with the views ... decided on this one til weather starts looking better snow wise :lol: I'm really loving the challenges these walks are giving us...

It was breath taking and i mean the experience and views ..... so going to climb some more ... any ideas... we arent rock climbers ... so has to be more of a walk.
certainly is a fine mountain. I can see why alot of people are addicted... think i might be too ... lol :lol:

Can hardly believe I did this walk :o ... it was not only an experience but a hell of achievement for myself and my partner. For me as I am disabled was steep took it at my pace.. slow :lol: :lol: It was a good day sun was out .. almost summers day. ... the higher we got you could hear the wind ... ...

Loch Ard

(5th sept 09 )We took our time on this walk.. was a wet day the ground is hard very stoney so glad I wore my boots. it is a steady climb uphill. The view was beautiful once we got through the Forest. The crossing is closed :( but we walked under the railway bridge :lol: It was stunning views the photos were a definet must ... had to capture that beauty of the Sun going down over the castle and Loch :D

Killin

This was a pleasant walk, from Killin via the old railway track. to Loch Tay. A bit boggy as you come to the last mile stretch.

My partner made a comment yesterday, an I think it was very apt ... God painted the world first and made Scotland his master piece :) ....No matter how many times you visit some where in Scotland it is never the same twice, with the ever changing colours and views ... almost as if it is on a moving ...

Strone Walk,

eWe loved this walk, with the Autumn Leaves in full glow. we took the path to the left, up to a post where you could see the Falls... The sun shining thro the trees gave them a gold shine.. mixed with red's, browns, burnt yellow... was so lovely.. we followed the path away from the falls and came to...

Castle Kilchurn Loch Awe

Quite an exceptional walk, @ any time. Tho a short but pleasant walk. going at the time of day we did .. approx 4.30 we got the best sight ever. It can be boggy.. we were lucky it was quite dry so fairly firm tho slightly muddy in part. A not to be missed walk. As Loch Awe is spectacular in itself. ...
