Try spinnaker tape which is incredibly sticky but light, thin and flexible, used for mending sails .. brilliant stuff

As a suggestion I did the round clockwise from Glen Lyon starting/finishing at Inverar and was very pleasant .. that might save miles of trackless wandering

If you need a bit warmer pop it into a tvek sol escape bibi.. v little weight but breathable and waterproof so doesn't get wet or damp in the tent overnight .. used one for years with a 450grm bag spring autumn

You do some impressive distances over rough ground with an absolutely giant sack! What on earth have you got in it? (Possibly boulders for extra training😊). One day you discover the delights of tarp tents, bubble wrap and esbit stoves and then well see you cover distance!!

All of this rings very true from a collie's point of view!
