Re: Put me out my misery

Hmm, yeah salt blocks seem to be the most popular idea, maybe someone likes to make the deer work for it by putting it on top of a post haha, oh well. They did look pretty cool anyway :D

Put me out my misery

Hiya, can someone PLEASE put me out my misery and tell me what these are? I was up doing Stuchd an Lochain at the weekend there and saw a few of these at the bottom of the dam. I did put it on my facebook and got various answers, the ones I thought most viable were salt blocks or art. But can anyone...

Re: Stuc a' Chroin from Callander side

I did this same walk on Wednesday there, really enjoyed it, except from the boots and socks off wade through the water! ooh that was refreshing. Got about 5 minutes clear view at the top before the cloud came over.

Re: If you're going up the A9 in the next couple of days....

Yeah, that was the one! We left at 5 in the morning but by the time we got to Inverness the idea seemed less appealing, luckily we only lost a deposit. Bit disappointed I never got to shoot anyone :) but think we made the right choice. The Saturday definately would have been a better day for it.

Re: If you're going up the A9 in the next couple of days....

I drove up the A9 to Inverness on Sunday for a day of paintballing of all things, didn't quite make the paintballing but as I was driving down the road at 20/25mph the north bound carriageway had been shut, there were miles of parked dark cars. At least I was moving though. An interesting journey

Re: Buffalo - Special 6 Shirt

hiya, just chiming in here because I love Buffalo. Bought the purple one about oh 13ish years ago and although its a bit worn, am still wearing it. I would definately but another one. Saying that, I have never had any Paramo gear so I can't compare, but just wanted to give a shout out for the Buffal...

Re: The Cobbler & Some Snow 07/11/2009

Doesn't look like the weather dampened your day at all! Did the Cobbler earlier on this year, have still to go through the needle, one day!

BEINN CHABHAIR

Well, what an amazing day it was on Sunday for walking!! Woke up to frost everywhere but could see the Ochils as clear as a bell, was super excited! Headed up to Inverarnan getting there about 11am where I set off from the Drovers Inn carpark. (Once I figure out how to download photos from my phone,...

Re: Ben Vane

Great photos and report, think I'll definately be making this my next hill. I prefer when the path is quite defined, makes me feel better as I'm usually out and about on my own.
