Thank You

Many thanks to Will and Val, who stopped to assist when my climbing partner Johhny fell ill today at the start of the Hart Fell Horseshoe.
He seems fine now, but will get checked out by the medics in the morning.
Your generosity with time and sympathy is much appreciated.

Lost: Canon Camera Iron Lodge, Affric

Small Canon Camera in a hard black "shell case".
Pretty sure it came out of my rucksack pocket when I was returning, by bike, from Iron Lodge to Sallachy on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning, 19/20 April 2016.
Has a lot of pictures of New Zealand on it

Carn an Fhreiceadain

With HMC colleagues. Strong winds, snow, and blocked access roads prevented our attempting a Munro near Laggan so we came here instead. Resipol

With HMC Colleagues. Knew it would be wet, so decided to go for a Corbett rather than risk higher peaks. Good training walk! Resipol demands a long walk in and out, with the path scant for much of it's length. Sadly, there was zero view on this occasion. but it was a good test of navigation and weat...

Stob Coire Sgriodain and Chno Dearg

Beautiful Autumn day's walk with mates from HMC. Parked near Fersit and went through the bog and straight up the Sron na Garbh-bheinne, the onto Stop Coire Sgriordain. Solo climb from Morvich. Staight up to Beinn Bhuide then a brilliant, exciting walk and scramble along the Meall an Fhuarain Ridge in bright sunshine.
