Re: At last, a sunny day!

Enjoyed your report. Done the loop earlier this year and bided my time for good weather and was not dissapointed. Doubt if i will ever complete all the Munros but there are a few that is on my bucket list and thats one less. Very surprised i never met anyone on the mountain till getting to the roads...

Great report. Believe what you seen is Lichen a type of fungus. Seen something simlar on Ben Wyvis but sure some of our more enlightened members will give a better answer. :clap:

Did not like the idea of walking about 5 miles along the road so parked up at Morvich a nice walk along Gleann Lichd
then up and over the Munros and ridges on a great day. Would have found it very difficult on a day like you had.

Was up and and hoping to do this mountain earlier this year but had to give it a miss as it was completely covered in cloud and all around nice and clear :roll: .
