Re: Cinematic film of our rough Cape Wrath Trail (385km)!

Brilliant video - so great to have your sumptuous drone footage, and love your sense of humour - key attribute for doing the trail. And to manage to film in the filthy weather captures the whole experience really well. Epic indeed.

Re: The Skye Trail in 8 leisurely days: video log

Thanks nick, For the leisurely schedule I took (south to north) - carrying food was only really needed the only nights by the 'old man', and then the next night when I camped on the ridge (which was glorious) - but as you will have just come from Portree thats no problem. You need to think ahead a b...

Re: Affric Kintail way - autumn glory

Great report and amazing pictures! Thanks!! So you actually don't need the navigational skills they write about in the description? Although I can read a map, I don't know if I could handle a compass to navigate... :( And it seems like you've been incredibly lucky with the weather in end of October...

Re: Skye Trail, July 2015

great report and video - but it did make me grateful for the better luck I had than you with the weather. It's a wonderful trail isn't it.

Re: Affric Kintail Way from Inverness

Interesting an helpful report with great pictures as usual. Thanks for sharing. Completely agree with you about the boring early stretches - but the stretch between loch Africa and morvich is so nice it's worth taking time over just to enjoy the landscape. I went in the autumn so no buses to cut the...

Affric Kintail way - autumn glory

Depressed by having lost quite a lot of hard earned money through an online hack/fraud, but encouraged by a reasonable weather forecast and some recent posts on the affric kintail way - I squeezed 5 days at the end of October to do the stretch from Cannich to Morvich. I skipped the first stage from ...

Re: The Affric Kintail Way with (almost) Sgurr an Airgid

Thanks for the great report - helped me to decide to grab 3 days to do the cannich to morvich bit when the weather looked ok. People had evaporated by end of October - just saw three in three days. And the landscape has turned golden brown from the lush green of your trip.
