Agreed! Two days ago I saw three noisy Oystercatchers in Glen Strae where they come to nest by the River Strae, and yesterday I heaard the first woodpecker drum roll of the season in my North Argyll garden. Spring indeed.

First cuckoo here in North Argyll yesterday (13/4). The most frequent time slot here over my 10 years noting arrivals (I know, I'm a pathetic bird nerd) is around 21st to 24th so this is an early bird. Poor soul - it's snowing here this morning.
