Re: Smuggling into Alva Glen

That water pipe - is/was there any sort of dam at the top to catch water to flow into the pipe?

Re: Beinn a'Ghlo Triple

Great report and very interesting, thanks very much! Well done!

I haven't been in the hills for a very very long time - I notice there are so many tracks now and there seems to be a lot of erosion. Is this a general problem ? Or just isolated cases ?

Best wishes
Adam

Re: Benarty Hill, is this Fife's shortest hill route?

What a fine walk - every hill has a bottom and a top and it's always great to get to the top, catch your breath and have a look around. Fine pics too.

Re: East and West Lomond in the sun and snow

Nice! Refreshing story and fine pics, Rod. Never been up these hills but often viewed from Edinburgh. My great-grandparents lived in Falkland so I sort of feel attached to the area. Well done!

Re: Third time lucky on the illusive Beinn Bhuidhe

I admire you for your perseverance - well done, try, try and try again, eh? I liked your story and your meetings - coos, granny stoppers, ghost voices and all.

Well done!
