Corryhully bothy nr Glenfinnan is easy to get to by bike & with kids. It's about 3 miles up a tarmac estate road. Basic but has electricity.

Woulds it be possible to walk to bothy pushing a cycle and kids trailer along pathway outlined on map? Definitely not ! It's a pretty rough route. Was there a couple of weeks ago and the path was hard to follow at the section (quite) near the start where one climbs uphill through a wood - parts loo...

Thanks again for everyone taking the time to post - I have a table booked at the Chandlery and also at the Kinloch Lodge for her actualy birthday. I know of the Three Chimneys but I was told that childred under 5 are not welcome! Kinloch Lodge is great :D . In my view better than the Three Chimneys...

I agree with kinley ( ) about sunrises. I've always been an early riser and there's nothing better than getting up at 2am in june and heading off to a favourite hill, reaching the top just as the sun rises. Something life-affirming about it...

You misinterpret my comment Ken - my implication was 'fame at last' for kinley - given you'd reproduced his comment. Apologies if you took it as having a go (or jumping on a bandwagon ).
