Re: places to stay overnight near Arnisdale

You would find somewhere to wild-camp up Glen Arnisdale, by Achadh a'Ghlinne, also down the south coast path from Corran.
Also worth knowing that there are nice heated toilets with hot water at the Corran information centre at the road end, open 24hrs.
(There are also toilets with showers in Glenelg)

Re: Excitement, Adventure and Really Wild Things - Part 2

Brilliant report, ironically it makes for better reading because of the terrible conditions you encountered.
I know by first hand experience how hard it is at the best of times (I had a lot of rain as well at times) so well done to you all for even attempting it in that foul weather.

Re: WALKHIGHLANDS AUTUMN MEET 25th/26th Oct 2019

If anyone fancies a Bothy on the Thurs night before let me know.
Not sure which one yet, but I will choose one somewhere not too far from the Hostel area.

Re: Wales Coastal Path

I completed it (minus a few bits I did no want to do (Pembroke Dock, Milford Haven docks) some I had done in previous years (Anglesey, Llyn Peninsula being the biggest stretches) and the rest over several weeks in a year. Trail shoes should do, but you will get wet feet on some days. The signage is ...
