Thought you might like to know that the last (boring) section of the West Island Way on Bute is shortly to be re-routed so it avoids the tarmac road from Rhubodach to Port Bannatyne. As you'll see, I've posted much the same request again. Hadn't read your reply to my earlier post. Still think it's weird that eg Galloway is a higher priority than Arran. Ho hum.

I'm sure it's been raised before, by why is Arran missing? It's a pretty glaring gap.

I know it's cheating to reply to yourself. But I've just come down from Beinn Mhor again and it was different as chalk and cheese. Deep soft snow all the way up through the forest was a complete pain. Only a couple of people had been up, so no choice but to use their footsteps, which is hard going. ...
