Re: loch coire mhic fhearchair to Kinlochewe?

Re: Alltbeithe to Maol-Bhuidhe

Surely they still leave the rear extension open in the closed season or Winter months? Or has that been kicked into touch nowadays! As I haven't been there for a considerable time. I don't know. I suspect that the caretaker changed in the meantime, but I might be mistaken. On my CWT I didn't check ...

Re: Cape Wrath Trail

Done the CWT twice, both times solo, first time I walked and camped a few times with people that I met, second time this April only met 2 people on the route. Walking alone is not a problem to me ( I'm a 57yrs old male) if you feel nervous maybe you could try a 1 or 2 nighter to see how you feel abo...

Re: Any good wildcamping spots near Laggan

Normally camp at Garva Bridge when coming though that way. Seem to recall fenced in farmland between the dam and Laggan. I knew some guys who camped on the north side of the loch on their TGO

Cairngorm 9 day round.

our_route.gpx Day 1 First day and as always for a multi day trip it was off on the train up the Highlands. Its cheap enough if booked far enough ahead. Trouble being I had to go with the weather and had just missed out on a decent lengthy sunny settled spell and the first part of my walk looked to ...
