Re: Binnein Mor and Na Gruagaichean - evening up the tan!

Spectacular pictures! I'm planning to do this route in a couple of weeks. Hope for decent (or decentish) weather.

Re: West Highland walk reversed (starting in Fort William)

I stand corrected! I was going from memory (it was 2011), and it certainly felt more uphill as we headed North. Guess you always notice the climbs more than the descents though. Apologies for spreading misinformation.

Re: West Highland walk reversed (starting in Fort William)

Re: Glencoe - End of May

Thanks Caberfeidh. Experienced that in May a couple of years ago. En route to the summit of Creag Meagaidh. Bright sunshine then 45 minutes later a blizzard and total whiteout.

CM is a rather uncomfortable place in those conditions!

Glencoe - End of May

Hello I'm planning a couple of days in around Glencoe/Mamores at the end of May. My plans (last September!) were to do Buachaille Etive Mor and Binnein Mor/Na Gruagaichean but obviously with the incredible snowfalls this winter I'm thinking that they may not be possible even in 5 weeks time; my part...
