I was up last week, just follow the main track all the way as it's easier. I had on boots and gaiters and never got wet feet.

To be honest if you want to do it then go for it, The AE isn't a holy grail and in truth if you have a decent head for heights you'll be fine. I think there's a wee bit much scaremongering about that walk.

Electricfly I feel you are talking utter nonsense, putting an animal in a situation where in it needs bungee cords to move is taking the animal outwith it's natural limitations.

Claiming they learn lessons on trust and their own limitations, I think they are learning about their owners ego.
