Re: Loch Monar 5 from Attadale to Glenuaig Shelter

Thanks! Well, I didn't plan this either. Originally I planned to stay in Bendronaig but I realised when passed by Craig (and when a police car hit a deer on the road just in front of me) that I wouldn't have got there before 1am, so dropped the bike off at Craig last minute. The 5 from Bendronaig wo...

Loch Monar 5 from Attadale to Glenuaig Shelter

Day 1: I started the walk from Attadale gardens at 6:20am but after some 2 km of walking I was picked up by two very nice Hydro workers (thanks for them) and was taken near Bendronaig Lodge. I am pretty sure I saved more than 2 hours by their help. I couldn't find the path up to Bidein a'Choire Shea...

Dear All,

Apology for the late reply, I have been travelling to date. Looks like there is interest so I will get in touch with a few guides, see what dates they can offer and will post here as soon as I know.
Cheers

Guided Inn Pinn climbing partner wanted, summer, flex. dates

Hi, I am looking for potential climbing partner(s) to climb (and obviously safely descent) Inn Pinn. The price of the guided climb/person reduces with the number of people accordingly. As an example from Jonah Jones, a highly recommended Skye tour guide's website: 1 person: £170 2 people: £90/person...

Knoydart fun, Sourlies and Barrisdale overnighter

This is a 3 days long trip. Day zero: Drove to the dam, located on the East side of Loch Quoich, there is a car park suitable for quite a few cars. I spent the night in the car. This is where my walk started. The number of deer on the road is actually scary at this time of year! Day one: Started the...

2 NW, 2 SW from the Linn of Dee (walk & cycle)

The previous night was spent in the Linn of Dee car park. Parking costs £2. The adventure started with cycling from the car park at 7 am. Just follow river Dee, the view is really nice. The road is good for cycling but a mountain bike is recommended (reason I am saying is because I have a road bike,...
