Just came across this. Did the same in 2014 but taking 18 hours so well done on your 16 hours! Planning a repeat this May, weather permitting...we had that long walk back to Kinlochleven in the rain and don't fancy that again!

Have been using Walkhighlands for ages for routes etc but just realised there is a members' forum! A bit about me...an exile from the the East Riding of Yorkshire who moved to Ayrshire nearly twenty years ago...did a lot of hillwalking in the North York Moors in my teens but didn't get back into hil...

Our mountaineering club used Lochinver Bunkhouse in May this year for 14 of us. Just google Lohchinver Bunkhouse to find website. Can be booked for exclusive use and is a great base for exploring Assynt,
