Kentmere Horseshoe

Walked by myself - dropped off by Gav (who went bouldering) then caught the bus back from Ings

MR Winter Training: Stob Coire Nan Lochan

This day we had instructors Giles & Kevin with us
Very wet and miserable on the approach to the Lochans but weather much improved afterwards
Did snow movement practise and lots of rescue scenarios
A long but good day

MR Winter Training: Lost Valley

Stream was wet-feet at the usual crossing place, but we found a dry way to cross further upstream after weaving through the boulder field Plan was to go further up into the upper Coire to find snow, but everyone was lacking psych as it was so wet and miserable Practised/revised avalanche awareness, ...

Cefn yr Ystrad

Walked by myself, Hewitt bagging whilst the canal boat was trapped by a fallen tree.
Abandoned quarries very eerie and loads of industrial heritage around (incl. Brinore tramroad).
