Wondering if anyone has taken this route avoiding the ascent of Stob a'Choire Odhair?

Been twice, first time parked in the farmers field and paid a £5 donation, second time the field wasnt available and parked in the hotel. Hotel was pretty full and we were there early.

Re: Mount Keen on a bike

Thanks for all the replies, went on Saturday and chained the bikes to a tree next to the cottage. It was well worth it and took around 1.5 hours off the guide time.

Mount Keen on a bike

Thinking of cycling in to Mount Keen via Glen Esk and was wondering where the best place near Invermark Cottage to leave a bike would be?

Thanks

Lawers Hotel Parking

Does anyone if the Lawers Hotel is allowing parking again? Passed by a few weeks ago and the car park was blocked off, planning the Coire nan Cat circuit soon and looking for advice for parking spots.

Invervar parking

Looking to walk the Glen Lyon 4 soon, does anyone know if the car park has been closed off? Are there alternative places for parking nearby?

Re: Ben Vorlich and Stuc a'Chroin from Ardvorlich

Did this a few years back on one of the warmest days of the year. It was that warm, the views were hazy, was amazed that Stuc still had snow on top. Struggled all the way to the top to bag my first munro. We were supposed to climb Stuc a'Chroin too but there was no way i could have managed it :D

The Storr, Isle of Skye

Took my wife to Skye in Feb for her 30th. The conditions were'nt very good for driving and we ended up being stuck in snow drifts at the Cluanie Dam. Got to Skye eventually though and there was a little splattering of snow. Stayed at the Bosville in Portree ( I would highly recommend it) and awoke t...
