ps the wee aldi ones are good for a range up to half a mile as we had them. When walking with my son he liked to roam a bit on the hills and he was the rabbit I was the tortoise ...so easier to radio him than keep up wi him

done ok ,completed the cuillins in 4 days, reached my 100 munro already had some snow hill days so all in all noe bad [summer was a wash out tbh]

If you had tried that with me you (and dog) would be descending the hill a damn sight faster that you'd got up it. If a dog can't be relied upon not to mooch food, jump on people or disturb livestock (including deer and grouse) it should be kept on a lead, or - better still - left at home.[/quote] L...

I have a labrador that eats everything on sight ,she is kept on a long lead when walking and short when sitting relaxing on a top or at a river however with people nearby she will sit and drool when their food comes out ,even if I feed her ,it usually sparks conversation and I have only had 1 chap [...
