Re: Geal Charn from Spey Dam

This route looks so much better. It's one of those hills I hardly remembered when I did it the second time. Although I loved camping in glen, it just can get really busy, specially with camper vans in the last few years.

Re: How to get hill fit - Meall Ghaordaidh & Ben Cruachan

Some nice atmospheric photos there, a fine reward for all your fitness preparation and it is a good thing to do to just sit and watch the evolving scene when the clouds part like that I think. I have to say that I do enjoy the just sitting part more and more. Must be getting older and wiser :D Terr...

A stormy weekend in Glencoe

Having checked the upcoming long range weekend weather forecast, I was exciting to see sunshine, a few clouds and temperatures around 10C. In other words a perfect weekend to start the camping season of 2024. :D :D :D Well that it was supposed to be, but as usual one can never trust the weather fore...

How to get hill fit - Meall Ghaordaidh & Ben Cruachan

Due to a number of different reason (holidays, family, illness, work and rubbish weather to name a few) it had been nearly 4 months since my last proper hill walk, which was quite shocking. To improve my fitness, I had opted to complete a fitness challenge (50 fitness classes over 2 months), on top ...

Re: Over the Sea to Raasay

Fabulous photos  . I have never been to Raasay, but have read the book about Calums Road which I found fascinating...and to see it one day has been on my bucket list since. The views you have encountered are simply wonderful.

Having just read one of your latest reports with this link in it, I am glad i found it. What an epic journey, one I never fancy completing in winter  brilliant read and some stunning photos. Such a lovely report  and it just makes me want to return to Harris. It's one of my favourite islands and I haven't climbed this hill yet, so it's already on my to do list for my next return. The views are absolutely stunning!
It was also so lovely to finally meet you back in October. :D

Re: Foaming, but not at the mouth!

Great report and follow up of the Big Meet  . You had me chuckle a few times (foaming trousers ) . Felt sad when we left on Sunday morning, but I don't think I missed much - at least weather wise.

Report in the wrong forum

Hey,

I just realized I added a Walkreport to the wrong forum (meeting up instead of Walkreport Scotland )
Is there an option to move it to the right Forum?
