I'm oot again!

Not been out for almost a year and a half but great to be back on the hills. Cracking day on these hills in the snow. Met John from Perth who was great company. Weather great all day.

Ben Chonzie

Cracking wee winter walk with John after not being out for many months. Took our time and enjoyed the perfect weather and being out in the snow. Met Frogwell on the summit but didn't realise it was him at the time. Great to be back on the hills.

Re: Loch Lomond Camping Ban- Protest Against the Ban

Terrible decision by the national park authorities. Thin end of the wedge as far as our right to roam etc are concerned. Landowners don't want us there and are putting more and more pressure on the governing bodies to outlaw the rights that were fought so hard for in Scotland and are the envy of peo...

No More Mamores

After a wee wander up Stob Ban the night before and a kip in the car it was time to finish off the Mamores with the 4 eastern summits. Off about half six and the weather wasn't looking great, cloud sitting at about 900m. First summit was still in the cloud when I got there but I could see the second...

Stob Ban (Mamores)

Only had this one to get at the west end of the Mamores so took a leisurely late afternoon drive up to Glen Nevis and set off about half four. Turned out to be a cracking decision as the weather was fantastic. Had the place to myself all the way up and back. Sat on the summit for about 40 mins takin...

Shielin Good!

Another cracking day out with Brian and a good training walk for his Kilimanjaro trip next month. Long day on a great ridge. Weather behaved all day and the views were excellent. I'll be back in Kintail soon I'm sure :D

3 More Gorms

Another wee night in the Linn of Dee car park for an early start biking in to Derry Lodge. Sunshine all day apart from a wee thunderstorm on the way back down Glen Derry. 3 great hills and some stunning scenery = another cracking day in the Cairngorms :D
