No, Steve & Andy were doing a new route up Ben Hope.

If there’s issues you can park about 3km west of the hotel (various options) and use the hydro tracks to do the circuit. It’s my preferred route anyway.
It’s pathless leaving the track and then rejoining it at the end.

Was in the glen today for the umpteenth time. If you ignore the terraforming and get the right light it’s a lovely place.

You’re correct , there’s not. It’s on the bus route though.

Craigdon mountain sports are across the road from the train station. Blacks on the same street if they don’t have any.
The bigger Outdoor shops are a little bit out the centre (tiso, Cotswold’s & go outdoors)

I’ve done tomatin to Inverness so know those tracks in general will be fine. If you wanted to shorten things you can get the bus there instead.
The track in the forest immediately south of Inverness is a bit boggy by the way but not insurmountable.

Caught a glimpse of the Strathconnon corbetts today which aren't that far away. Fresh snow down to around 700m. Likely all change next week but if your lucky I occasionally get a glimpse of the Strathfarrer hills fro near the house. There'll be fresh snow high up this week but at this time of the year will melt really fast.
